When surprising is no longer surprising

I just heard of this 2009 interactive call-back campaign by Orange in France – I spoke to the people behind the technology recently. It was so popular that it was discussed in national talk shows, and at its peak was receiving 5 calls every second, up to 180,000 calls a day.

That was before Old Spice and other interactive work of course.

Every new technology spawns new ways of interacting with people. SMS gave way to Facebook and Twitter, what’s next?
