Dear brands, the little things matter

Ben blogged about those nonsensical Trainline ads last week, and that immediately came to mind when I saw this one for WorldFirst the same day. The copy makes no sense whatsoever to me – it combines ‘wrong’ and ‘first’, two words which don’t really go together (did they think ‘wrong’ was a synonym for ‘world’?!) and another similar one that I saw yesterday, which I unfortunately don’t have a photo of, combines ‘nonsense’ and ‘first’ in the same manner. It’s like whoever was approving them did that with their eyes closed.

Leaving aside the fact that the art work is a pretty bad imitation of Mr. Men, of course.
