The Pale Blue Dot (with videos by @thisisorder and @adamwinnik)

To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we’ve ever known.

Here’s a neat animated video with the first few lines of Carl Sagan’s famous 1994 lecture at Cornell, which formed part of his book published by Random House [via Brainiac].
