Beat bullying: become a cybermentor

There’s a rather hard-hitting campaign underway by Beatbullying, a charity that pretty much aims to do what it says on the tin. The video below is very graphic, so if you’re faint of heart, this is not for you.

If people choose to upload a picture of themselves here, they can see themselves being bullied by some pretty awful looking youngsters, thanks to some (rather spooky)  face-mapping technology. Obviously, when you see yourself being harassed that way, it brings the reality of happy-slapping (which, by the way, is a term I will now always remember) much closer to home for you and people you know. The aim of the campaign is to encourage youngsters to become a Beatbullying cybermentor.

If you know someone between the ages of 18-25, I’d urge you to spread the word for them to sign up.
