Transport for London, who never fail to frustrate me with the number of line closures or delays they announce every day with unfailing regularity, did a couple of things last week that made me smile and think they were not so bad after all. In the second case, I’m sure the tube employee did it without being instructed to. He’s a person who is always very cheerful and does his best to make commuters’ mornings just that bit sunnier. Not a small thing, in this gloomy London weather!
It’s all about presenting a human face. TfL stopped being a big corporate monolith and seemed more human when I saw these two boards.
