I think Guinness does a rather good job of keeping the brand alive, so to speak. Their ads are larger-than-life, and usually there seems to be a whole story going on behind the creation of an ad. Their latest one (above) is going to be released on TV in the UK this evening on ITV1, during the Champions League match between Liverpool and Lyon. The nice guys at Splendid Communications sent me a few shots, in a nifty digital photo frame, of what went on behind the scenes of the making of the ad. Given that my mind always thinks ‘how did they DO this thing’, I was very interested to see the shots.
