Microfiche RIP

Google is apparently digitizing newspaper archives. I immediately thought of those detective films where the lead actor or actress goes to a library in search of ancient newspapers on microfiche to trace the history behind a particular event from long ago. I suppose in this day and age, those kind of films will need to reorient scenes to include a laptop and a shot of the lead characters poring over the web version of the local paper instead!
