Out with friends on Friday night, I went to a bar that served a brand of crisps I’d never heard of – Salty Dog. I went to their website to read a bit more about them – they’re one of those very local British brands that seem to be in the mould of Innocent, in a sense. Started in 2002, it now produces nuts and vegetable crisps in addition to potato crisps, and has another brand under its family banner, called Darling Spuds (have to say I really like these names – so much more creative than ‘Lays’ or something like that, don’t you think?!). You can even buy Salty Dog or Darling Spuds online.
